Question, though. Are you farming these items or just auctioning what you come across and keeping an eye on the AH?

Did you actually read the article? That question's answered in the story. This is stuff found while out questing, and then watching the AH when she got back to town with new unbound greens.

Trash mobs drop a LOT of stuff when just out questing; I usually end up sending it all to my enchanter for DE, but my little Horde alts sell things they find. They also have gathering profs so they pick up stuff while out questing; haven't purposely farmed anything yet (just gotten distracted while questing by the next lil' gold dot on the map).
