im 100% sure thats a beta only joke. they do that in every beta
Shrikesnest Mar 22nd 2012 12:37AM
Note that it only affects level 92 weapons, instead of a particular ilvl. Unless there's some kind of craziness going on, it can't even be applied to an actual player weapon.
Plus, the effect is just landslide.

I guess you could say we...

Can't bear it.
laurence.hill33 Mar 22nd 2012 12:43AM
LOL that is pretty awesome!
Twill Mar 22nd 2012 1:52AM
The weapon level is the ilevel.
Thus, this only applies to a few outland items ;P

viciouspen Mar 22nd 2012 10:34AM
wasn't there a pandamonium cartoon?
Shrikesnest Mar 22nd 2012 12:36AM
The most important question - are they excessively bright, overkill effects that obscure your weapon, or something a little more reserved?
razion Mar 22nd 2012 1:27AM
My thoughts exactly. Thinking of them, you can probably already get an idea of which one are going to more "weapon-obscuring" (if I can even term it like that). I'm really hoping we get that customize option for toggling weapon enchant appearances off and on in time for Mists. It isn't really neat when you, say, get a pair of legendary Fang daggers but you can't even see the dang things because you have them covered end to end in yellow and rock chunks. Makes all the art assets for the weapons seem misplaced if they're just going to be covered with an enchant graphic anyway.

WTB "Toggle Weapon Enchants" option.

I'd like an option where the effect only lights up when it's actually active on your character. It would make the animation a help, not a hindrance to gameplay
MrKupo Mar 22nd 2012 2:59AM
Really...I hope I'm not the only confused one here but.
Level 92 weapon?
gewalt Mar 22nd 2012 7:49AM
nothing to see here but placeholders
Steffan Mar 22nd 2012 5:22PM
I did a quick search of WoWHead, and only one ilvl 92 weapon came up: http://www.wowhead.com/item=22821

Finally a tank enchant that doesn't fluctuate avoidance numbers c:
BloodCrow Mar 22nd 2012 1:16AM
So....what, Hunters are screwed? We better get something redonkulous from engineering to make up for this since we no longer have melee weapons.

I'm sure those numbers aren't final.
SCOPE OF DOOOOM.
Drahken Mar 22nd 2012 1:21AM
Don't forget the ranged weapon enchants (scopes):

http://www.wowdb.com/items/77529-lord-blastingtons-scope-of-doom
The second one has a fantastic name! And I hope the numbers on those are going to be adjusted, because those are lower than the current scopes.
