Bu-bu-bu-bu-but my critters! I don't want to loose my critters T__T.
Catsmeow Mar 22nd 2012 9:55AM
I was just thinking that it is going to be great to not have to enchant a polearm and scope my bow!
Ellemir Mar 22nd 2012 1:32AM
Level 92 weapon? What's that?
Ametrine Mar 22nd 2012 2:42AM
A placeholder.
fhatfreddy Mar 22nd 2012 5:32AM
Since all the other enchants listed state a ilvl 384 requirement, I suspect the 92 is a typo.
Rezcore Mar 22nd 2012 7:52AM
Stacks up to 5?

Look, Power Torrent, I know you saw me and Jade Spirit together at the mall, and I'm not denying it. I think it's for the best.
Honestly, I've never met anyone who was red one minute, then blue the next.
snarkygoldfish Mar 22nd 2012 3:09AM
Wow....those are....very nice looking.
Aaron Mar 22nd 2012 3:15AM
1,650, you say? That's about three times the current "sometimes increases" effect (Power Torrent sometimes gives 500 Int, if memory serves, and the closest TBC equivalent I can think of is Mongoose, which sometimes gave 120.)
But what does it mean? Either we're in for another round of huge stat inflation in Pandaria, or they're increasing the internal cooldown on such procs, or they're rebalancing so your 5,000g of gems and enchants account for a more significant share of your DPS.

Enchant Weapon - Jade Spirit: Permanently enchants a melee weapon to sometimes increase your Intellect by 1,650 when healing or dealing damage with spells. If less than 25% of your mana remains when the effect is triggered, your Spirit will also increase by 750. Requires a level 384 or higher item.
Does this suggest Spirit will once again be useful for dps classes? If not then it's just for Discipline and I think Monk Healers I guess.
Jebediah54 Mar 22nd 2012 5:08AM
Spirit will still be useless for DPS (except classes that can be healers for spirit > hit), but I don't see why it wouldn't be useful for all the healing classes. The only reason the Spirit buff is on it is to make it more attractive to healers. Both Windsong and Jade Spirit will be good for healers.
Aodhan Mar 22nd 2012 6:27AM
I would imagine it's so that healers who dual-spec into DPS have an enchant that gives them more regeneration for healing. If you're a holy/shadow priest who would prefer Heartsong for the regen, that enchant's very much sub-par for shadow spec, so you currently have the choice of Power Torrent on one weapon for both specs, or putting expensive enchantments on two weapons.
I imagine Blizzard has noticed that Heartsong goes for a lot less on the AH and a lot of healers are picking Power Torrent anyway.
Windsong currently gives a bonus when your spells deal damage, no mention of healing, but it's very early days yet.

"Flowing River" will not have a weapon effect, it will randomly cause your toon to break out into "I'll make a man outta you" from Mulan! truly Epic :)
Jaq Mar 22nd 2012 10:20AM
I play a DK and if this were true, I'd stop using my runes and use this, and not give a DAMN how wrong it was.
kgavrin Mar 22nd 2012 7:22AM
Whoa... Shield and Cloak enchants that add boosts to all stats, like the chest? Those could be fun.
Go do some more digging on WOWDB, folks, it's worth it.
Rezina Mar 22nd 2012 8:52AM
Maybe the level weapon on Pandamonium is a typo? Maybe it is supposed to be level 392 and they forgot to profread? :)
ZephyrSP Mar 22nd 2012 1:23PM
Stats? What they DO? Get to the important stuff! Will they be a subtler, more appealing visual than Landslider and *retch* Power Torrent? Of course, if you give us the ability to mog enchants (or cut their visual off), it will be a moot point.
Windwalk is a good looking effect. Heartsong is a good looking effect. Mending is a good looking effect. Rune of the Fallen Crusader is a good effect. More of these.
Drache Mar 23rd 2012 10:28AM
Colossus. 7,500 absorb.
I hope they fix that. Since they didn't go for a "squish", I'd presume health numbers go significantly up by lvl 90, and of course that means that bosses will hit for significantly more than they do now.
I realize that tank enchants are difficult, but a random bubble usually just means "that much overheal" in raid situations. Now, in 5-mans, and during the start of an expansion, I'm sure it'll be quite useful.
