I loved the "mage tank" mechanic of TBC (and we had a warlock tank on the blue balls on Princes).

Glyphs may be more stationary, but they're not hard to swap. I used to flip between Rejuv and Regrowth on Chimaeron all the time.

However, I don't see clothies tank-tanking, just probably "tanking" for specific fights (cf Twin Emperors, Maulgar, Blood Princes, etc.)
