Could be the situational tanking scenario they have in mind is Scenarios, where specs don't really matter. In fact, they'd make decent training grounds for people with a mind to tank for reals to test it out, without the pressure and dire consequences of learning in heroics. Not a bad testing ground to toy with non-traditional tank roles as a mini- long-term beta test. Maybe bring back some of the shaman offtankiness with some glyphs, develop and deploy some dodge-tank directed rogue glyphs for, say, Combat.
