Mists of Pandaria Beta: Livestreaming the Wandering Isle
We've rounded up a few of our Mists of Pandaria beta testers, and we'll be rocking the Wandering Isle, the pandaren newbie zone, live on Twitch.tv for the next couple of hours.
You can watch us via the video embedded above (with the chat channel behind the break below), or join us over on Twitch. Enjoy!
Update: The stream is over, but you can still watch the recording of the session, which is now embedded at the top of this post. Matthew Rossi, Mathew McCurley, Anne Stickney, and myself completed the entire pandaren starting experience together.
It's open warfare between Alliance and Horde in Mists of Pandaria, World of Warcraft's next expansion. Jump into five new levels with new talents and class mechanics, try the new monk class, and create a pandaren character to ally with either Horde or Alliance. Look for expansion basics in our Mists FAQ, or dig into our spring press event coverage for more details!Filed under: Mists of Pandaria

Ach! No! Not more spoilers! Spoilers EVERYWHERE!!!
For this expansion, I'm saving myself from watching / viewing nearly all content so that the Mists of Pandaria experience will be a big adventure, where I know nothing and it's all about discovering. Just like when you first buy the game.
Which means I can't watch YouTube or go to WoWInsider or generally use the internet until Mists comes out, as everyone is putting out content.
Keep up the good work with the content you guys are providing but I'm going to avert my eyes.
Everything in WoW is discovered and figured out before its even released these days, so this time, I'm going to wait for my adventure and discover it all by myself :D!

1- Why are you posting this comment on a stream of the beta? Seems like the last place you'd want to be :)
2- When you enter the beta you can take your time, explore, immerse yourself, etc. That way, when live comes out, you can engage in the "Race" to the top (ie server firsts) without having to feel bad about missing anything/skipping interesting moments. That's why I don't mind spoilers :)

Luckily, i have noscript, so all your spoiling videos don't even show me a screen with a panda. Just a little arrow to accept the javascript.
But please, include spoiler tags.

The title of the post is Mists of Pandaria Beta: Livestreaming the Wandering Isle
What possible purpose would a spoiler tag serve? Absolutely every post about the beta is going to tell you things about the beta, that's the purpose of a post about the beta.

It's kinda that time again, time for people who don't want to be spoiled to just flat out avoid all WoW sites for the next handful of months. The writers can put "BETA" and "SPOILERS" in post names only so many times per post, the people who complain about it only do so because it's too much for them to NOT click to read more. There are plenty of ways to watch out for the spoilers, but people don't want to have to do all the work for it. If you don't want to see it, and you don't think you'll be able to resist, then just stay off the site till it comes out. As for me, KEEP SHOVELING IT ON THE PLATE! I'M STILL HUNGRY!

Twitch tv needs to offer higher rez streams in their iOS app. This is a pixelly mess.
Also, thanks for doing this.

Nice to see you guys live streaming again :)
You guys should consider switching from FME to xsplit broadcaster. I may have recommended FME when you started streaming alex but using FME for twitch.tv has just gone down the toilet for quality. Ypull get much better results with xsplit.
Cheers and regards,

Hey Xartin,
I actually was using XSplit, but unfortunately I'm sharing a not-very-good internet connection with multiple people, so I need to keep most of my settings low to avoid lagging myself out.
However, I'm upgrading next week, so things should be vastly improved then!

What does the beta consist of at the moment? Is it just 1-85 content? Is it just the testing of the Panda starting zone and the new monk class or are the talent changes in for all the classes?
Also are there any recommendations for how to correctly provide feedback etc. for the beta? When I finally get in I'd like to know how that works.

Here's an excellent guide to beta testing:

Cheers. This will be the first game I've beta tested and I'd like to be as helpful as possible.

Thanks for doing this.
I am one of the people who missed it live but happily watched 2 1/2 hours of it this morning. It is really cool to see the Pandaren starting zone.
What makes it watchable is hearing all your comments as you play.
