Mists of Pandaria Beta: New warlock pets

It should be noted that the sizes might be off; it's not an uncommon beta bug to have pet sizes be strange at first. No idea if this is intentional, though, so take the size with a grain of salt.
The new warlock pets are:
- Fel Imp (replaces the Imp when talented)
- Wrathguard (replaces the Felguard when talented)
- Voidlord (replaces the Void Walker when talented)
- Shivarra(replaces the Succubus when talented)
- Observer (replaces the Felhound when talented)
- Abyssal (replaces the Infernal when talented)
- Terrorguard (replaces the Doomguard when talented)
It's open warfare between Alliance and Horde in Mists of Pandaria, World of Warcraft's next expansion. Jump into five new levels with new talents and class mechanics, try the new monk class, and create a pandaren character to ally with either Horde or Alliance. Look for expansion basics in our Mists FAQ, or dig into our spring press event coverage for more details!Filed under: Warlock, Mists of Pandaria

These are looking pretty cool.

As if channeling dark fel magic wasn't epic enough, now my warlock gets to command a towering, busty, purple babe in a thong. Win.

I wasn't sure what the difference between the Doomguard and the Terrorguard were at first. After looking it up, apparently it's the stomach-mouth. Huh, well, certainly didn't know that until today. I'm still looking forward to the new gender options for demons, if only because the idea of a Voidwalker with a bow on its head would be highly amusing.

Whats the difference between a reg imp and a fel imp??? I like other demons though... well I like the original infernal model better.

OMG, it escaped from Violet Hold!
Quick, KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!!
Jackwraith Mar 23rd 2012 10:02AM
I think it escaped from Auchenai Crypts...

My core hound did that years ago, and has never looked back. He sometimes whines in the corner though...I wonder what happened to him in there.

The Beholder and the Shivarra are neat! The others are so similar to what you already get, it is a little hard to get excited about them. :-/
Terrant Mar 23rd 2012 9:14AM
Hey! We can't call it a beholder without the blessing of the wizard who lives by the coast.
Thundrcrackr Mar 23rd 2012 10:05AM
I wish they worked like hunter pets so we could just tame and use any demon we find in the wild.
spectres Mar 23rd 2012 10:08AM
I like the term Observer better anyway (I am a huge MST3K fan, lol)
I wish they had replaced the Infernal with a Fel Reaver, Gnome Warlock, plus Infernal Contraption FTW!
I think they could have gone much crazier with them in general. How about a Pit Lord instead of a Doomguard, that would be terrifying! Just getting a re-skin makes me a little sad. :-(
flash Mar 23rd 2012 10:17AM
Fel Reavers aren't demons, they're mechanical. You wouldn't be able to summon one.
Jordan Mar 23rd 2012 11:12AM
Dude, the Voidlord is fricking awesome, period. I've killed so many of those in Outland and long wondered how cool it would be to have one in place of the voidwalker. Looks like I'll know now :-D
mitch_b_666 Mar 25th 2012 8:59AM
@flash
If you were a engineer, it would be neat to build a mechanical body for your summoned demon to possess though. A cool little thing just for warlock engineers.

I have to admit I mostly use my fel-hunter and I don't know if I'd change him.
ash.p.liu Mar 23rd 2012 9:16AM
What is the beholder an upgrade of? The felhunter?
evoxpisces Mar 23rd 2012 9:46AM
Assuming these are ll upgrades of our original demons, yeah I would say the Observer/Beholder is the upgrade of the Felhunter. I love the Observer/Beholder the best actually.. :D
Martin Mar 23rd 2012 10:51AM
It says right in the post, Felhunter -> Observer
Emma Marie Mar 23rd 2012 9:30AM
If only they let the beholder's eye rays disintegrate things or turn them to stone, or negate magic, or charm people, or......
wait..wrong beholder.
Ainur Mar 23rd 2012 3:44PM
Maybe you can find beauty if you look into the beholder's eyes.
