Around Azeroth Beta Edition: When I left my home, the sky split open wide
Oh hey, someone got into the MoP beta zones for more than a minute before being ported out! Submitter Scott sent in this screenshot, which was apparently taken near a statue of Yu'lon the Jade Serpent in the Jade Forest area. It seems to be the bottom half of the statue shown in this picture. I'm not sure what happened to the sky there, but it looks like it may be treatable with some moisturizing cream and an anti-fungal medication.

You can see the statue from far away so I decided to check it out. When you run across the bridge everything suddenly goes dim. The statue is on an island surounded by a panderian camp of workers maintaining the statue.. They all look bent over as if their tools are too heavy or their depressed.. then I looked up and saw the cancer in the sky.. It moves very slowly...

Sing it with me!
I never meant to cause you any sorrow
I never meant to cause you any pain
I only wanted one time to see you laughing
I only wanted to see you laughing in the purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
I only wanted to see you bathing in the purple rain
