Not to be slightly off topic or anything, but I've been maining warlock since vanilla and I don't understand why green fire would be *that* cool to take up development time that could be used for absolutely anything else. =/ Not that it wouldn't be cool; it's just not something I'd ever worry about.

You could say this about a lot of things: better water and sun shafts; new skins for humans, orcs and dwarrow; new shaders and shadows; transmog... none of which will make any difference to core gameplay. However, WoW is now an old game, and all of these things mount up, especially with so much competition on the horizon. A new coat of paint, and paying attention to what their paying customers have been asking for, will keep people p[l]aying a little longer.

Yeah I've never got why people are so set on having green fire. Doesn't interest me in the slightest. I hope that if it is implemented, it is optional like a glyph or the quest they've mentioned, something I can not do so I can keep my current fire spell look.
