So, I know Legendary is a video cast.
Is there any way, in the future, that these links can be identified as video, or audio only?
Also, in my humble opinion, with Twitch and Youtube, I really think that straight-audio podcasts are going to go ghost, bye-bye, sayonara. It's so much better when you can see people's faces, see how everyone is expressing themselves, also if you're cool like Gannon from gbtv, integrating youtube videos and screenshots into the videocast.
The audio only casts might have a future if cars start having better integration of internet in them, because the main market for radio these days is automobiles, and that's really what podcasts are, radio talk programs, just broadcast on the internet to a wider audience.
But overall, for the home audience, video-casting is really the wave of the future, especially since it's so gosh-darned easy in this day of skype, twitch, youtube, and xsplit. It may even be easier to v-cast than to podcast these days because of this tech.

Mmmm, I disagree. I really loathe video casts. I listen to Podcasts while doing other things (lots of other things, usually working on my novel, playing my hunter, drawing, or cleaning the house). I know its possible to just not watch the video, but when they keep referring to things on screen that is really really difficult.
I think there is a niche for both.

On behalf of everyone with wives, kids, and jobs, you are wrong. If I have to stare at someone's face while I listen I'm done - only time I have for this guilty pleasure is while I'm driving to work and back.

I know I'm a bit late to the party, but nvm...
I personally disagree as well. I listen to podcasts on my way to/from work or while I'm doing other things and I suspect I'm not alone in this.
Video casts are cool, certainly, but to be honest, I haven't seen many where I particularly wanted to stare at the presenters face for the duration of a pod cast.
