Breakfast Topic: What's the one thing you can't wait to find out about Mists?

There's been a huge amount of news coming out from the beta about Mists. We've heard about healing changes, lady pandaren emotes and floppy bangs, and where to hunt your pet warriors in Eastern Kingdoms.
But what are you waiting to see? What's the piece of news you're looking for every time a new Mists story appears? First and foremost, "that my beta invite has arrived" is not a response I will accept. I will track you down and glare sternly at you if you say that. I mean it. I'm on my way to glare at Daniel Whitcomb right now.
I want to hear what the thing is you're desperate to know. I really want to hear more about new PvP elements. Anyone who read my list of Mists PvP wishes will be familiar with what I'd love to see, and I'm hanging on Blizzard's every release hoping for PvP leveling information.
And I'd love to see the paladin talents reworked. They're looking kind of lackluster right now, a redistribution of existing talents, not filling me with excitement like talents for the other classes I play.
How about you? What are you on the edge of your chair hoping to see? And, of course, why?

Really think that warriors and DK are going to be OP in pvp and I can't wait to try them out. Iam sure that most people reading this have looked over the class talents and new glyphs and can pick one that they can't wait to test out. But moving on from that iam really looking forward to the story behind the re-done dungeons.

It would be nice to have some contribution in PvP.
That's why I currently play prot in PvP. It's just putting pressure on people, but it's a lot of fun causing enough of an annoyance until the cavalry gets here to finish the job.
Noyou Mar 27th 2012 8:44AM
Blood DK's are getting nerfed pretty good. At least that was my take from the beta info that MMO champ had.

I really want to know if I could look exactly like the monks in the scarlet monastery in the previews I've been seeing. they single handily convinced me to create a human monk. When I say exactly though I mean exactly. I mean I understand we have to wear shoulders so that's okay, but I want leather sandals. I must have leather SANDALS!

After seeing the video of the female Pandaren yesterday, the updated race models, whenever that is.
StClair Mar 27th 2012 11:55AM
Same here.

Honsestly i like to know how beta is coming along from the testers. Would really like to know how refined the game is atm, i mean is it quite buggy or is quite refined.
Noyou Mar 27th 2012 8:44AM
My guess is, you won't see a refined game until deep into the beta, if at all.

I am not really waiting for anything in particular, but if there is something that intrigues me it is how gearing up is going to work in MoP. How exactly will VP augment gear? Will we be able to LFR on previous tiers (ie, when T15 comes out, will T14 raids still be available?). How will tier pieces work?
Talmar Mar 27th 2012 8:15AM
I'm not as interested in the new wild pets as I am to see how the pet battle system will actually work.
I already have over 170 pets and I know I'll get more, so many more, farming until my eyes bleed (raises arms to the air DAMN YOU FOX KIT).
I'm also very very curious as to if and how the professions may change. It looks like cooking will be much more interesting, especially depending on how your own personal daily quest hub farm turns out. But what about fishing? Archiology (again, DAMN YOU CRAWLING CLAW). Any decent changes coming to the gathering and crafting professions? First aid still going to be just bandages?
Bruce Mar 27th 2012 8:45AM
And there was me thinking the Fox Kit would be one of those easy pets to get after stumbling across it farming leather in TB (spiders and odd fox). I feel your pain though, 3500 casts for the damn sewer rat... I had three people pop the Ach while I was sitting there for 2 days.
Talmar Mar 27th 2012 10:34AM
Rarity tells me I'm at just under 2000 foxes killed and that's only since installing it a couple months ago. Who knows how many before that. Makes me wish my pet collector was a skinner lol. About the same situation for the Razzashi Hatchling as well. Got my macaw though :)
Sewer Rat took me about 1500 casts.
The Dark Whelpling took me over 4000 kills when I farmed that. I was farming leather to level leatherworking on my Pandaren the other day and one dropped. Only 137 kills. I'll sell it during Mists launch. :)
Ullaana Mar 27th 2012 10:38AM
@Talmar,
The pet you got in the Beta won't be on your live Mists character so you won't be able to sell it there.
Lipstick Mar 27th 2012 10:40AM
M rat was a total surprise back @ 80 while doing daily fishing quests. I hadn't even heard about it yet. It quickly became one of my all time favorite pets ever. Come on, a priest .. named Lipstick... walking around with a giant rat? Something about it just seemed all sorts of wrong, and thus -- I was totally all over it.
My fox kit took me 600 kills. I spent maybe 3 days running circles around TB in between every distraction my guild tried to throw my way. The begging on hind legs thing it does was so worth the effort.
I got my 150th pet not that long back, so for me I am definitely excited about the pet battle system. I am praying it doesn't go the way of the dance studio. I am also SUPER jazzed about acount-wide pets as that means that a few of my rare pets that I got on my original main that were part of events and could never be re-earned will finally be accessible to my main of the last 3 years. {I am looking at you Kara-event-bat, and olympic-lizzard...}
Talmar Mar 27th 2012 11:20AM
@Ullaana
Oh I know that, I'm not even in the beta. Everything I stated was about my live toon(s).
:)
I do have the AP so I'll see the beta someday.
Boobah Mar 27th 2012 11:23AM
@Ullaana:
I took that to mean he was farming leather on the live servers to stockpile now so he wouldn't have to waste time later once MoP goes live.
@Lipstick:
That's not begging; that's dancing. That emote has been in the game since vanilla for shaman in Ghost Wolf form.
Ullaana Mar 27th 2012 11:35AM
@ Talmar & Boobah,
Yep, just re-read it so there wasn't a comment fail as much as a comprehend fail.
It makes so much more sense now that I am fully awake. Coffee is my friend.
Luotian Mar 27th 2012 8:15AM
Hunter stuff. Mostly, what they're going to do with our pets. Will expertise affect them, and if so how? Do we get to keep talents for them or are they complete gone (I very sincerely hope the later is not the case!)
In what ways do we get to customize them? What new skins are there for wolves/turtles, since I collect those. Can we tame a bear with a panda skin (panda with a panda pet, please).
All of this is very important info!
Luotian Mar 27th 2012 8:18AM
Also, is there any benefit standing out of melee range even though we don't have to? Please say yes.
eel5pe Mar 27th 2012 8:59AM
Hehe, I believe the benefit of standing out of melee range is that you don't get hit as much =)
