Breakfast Topic: What's the one thing you can't wait to find out about Mists?

There's been a huge amount of news coming out from the beta about Mists. We've heard about healing changes, lady pandaren emotes and floppy bangs, and where to hunt your pet warriors in Eastern Kingdoms.
But what are you waiting to see? What's the piece of news you're looking for every time a new Mists story appears? First and foremost, "that my beta invite has arrived" is not a response I will accept. I will track you down and glare sternly at you if you say that. I mean it. I'm on my way to glare at Daniel Whitcomb right now.
I want to hear what the thing is you're desperate to know. I really want to hear more about new PvP elements. Anyone who read my list of Mists PvP wishes will be familiar with what I'd love to see, and I'm hanging on Blizzard's every release hoping for PvP leveling information.
And I'd love to see the paladin talents reworked. They're looking kind of lackluster right now, a redistribution of existing talents, not filling me with excitement like talents for the other classes I play.
How about you? What are you on the edge of your chair hoping to see? And, of course, why?

Mi personal piece(es) of information that makes me refresh wow-insider's page every 5 minutes are as follow(in no particular order):
1). More disc and shadow priest information (shadow ravens?)
2). More info on Rogues
3). More info on destruction/demon locks.
4). WTB world PVP !!!! (OK, OK... some bg info too).
5). More on war, DK and MONK tanking.
The reasons? Easy! this is what I am looking for in MOP.
Now you know what I play :))))

Account wide achievements. This. PLEASE. All achievements, all characters. Many people like myself have a "main" that we collect the big achievements on and this, in turn, can lead us to neglect other characters that we'd enjoy just as much. Also I believe my ability to down DW or get Loremaster isn't an ability of my priest, it's my ability as a player.
eel5pe Mar 27th 2012 8:56AM
I don't think getting Loremaster is indicative of any ability other than a masochistic personality. Man that thing took forever.
tatertots4life Mar 27th 2012 4:09PM
Yeah, I'm really excited for this, as well. It's so hard for me to level alts, b/c I get bummed that I'd have to get the same achievements over again and work on getting all my pets over again, too. So, I'm super pumped for account-wide achievements and account-wide pets. I can't remember, did they say there would be account-wide mounts, as well? If so, that will just make my day.
I wonder how the account-wide achievements will work in some ways, though. The ones that give rewards, like mounts, will all your toons then get those mounts? Because that would be so nice.

I need to find out more about Blacksmithing, and what skill levels I will need for the new mining nodes.
And Olivia, you should glare sternly at me because I am, well you know.

What I most wanted to see died today :( Farewell, demonology tanking!

I am sorry, but I'm about to post "What I'm LEAST interested in MoP".
Yes, the pet battle system.
I personally have zero interest in it. None whatsoever. Zip. Nada. I am sorry that Blizz will be investing serious time, capitol and effort into something I will never participate in. The thought of all that code that *could* have been more quests, or zones, or whatever that shall not be part of WoW saddens me.
I forecast the pet battle system will be a new delay for starting raids, forming groups and devolve into a new method of griefing players who want to play Warcraft, not pokemon.
Luotian Mar 27th 2012 9:12AM
Up until RF was implemented, the majority of the play base could have said that about raids.
Sorry you're not interested, but get over yourself, lots of people are super excited about it. Play the game your way, and they will play it theirs.
Noyou Mar 27th 2012 9:19AM
This ain't the place dude. QQ department is around the corner, next to the compost bin.
Caylynn Mar 27th 2012 9:17AM
I have zero interest in the pet battles as well. I'm too old to have played Pokemon (my nieces and nephews did) and I just don't see the appeal. At all. Oh well, it seems like plenty of people are excited about it, so I'm happy for them.
evoxpisces Mar 27th 2012 9:46AM
@Luotian: Agreed.
I, for one, have not participated in any raids prior to LFR and I'm very happy they added that feature in! Even prior to LFD back whenever they added it, I hardly ever went into dungeons. There are a lot of people who are excited about the pet battles. I'm not one of them, and although I do want to try them out, I won't be one to invest a lot of time and gold into training and leveling up my companion pets. I'm hardly a pet collector, though I do like to get new ones here and there. But the point is... No content is made for 100% of the playerbase.
darkbander Mar 27th 2012 8:59AM
I want to know if they're serious in that they're only adding ONE more slot. Really? I could've sworn they mentioned more than that at Blizzcon.
Luotian Mar 27th 2012 9:13AM
GC said he would *like* to remove the server restriction and keep the character cap. My bet is that proved to be more technically difficult than anticipated.
Noyou Mar 27th 2012 9:19AM
I'd like to see them boost it to 12-15. But there's a big difference from mentioning something off the cuff and implementing it into the game. See also: Dance studio, Path of Titans, and Item squish.
Talmar Mar 27th 2012 10:44AM
@Noyou
I agree completely. I think 15 would be a sweet spot. There's 11 classes total now but what about someone who would like all 11 classes, a bank alt, a locked xp lower level pvp toon and maybe a duplicate class opposite faction or two?
BTW Someone who wants every profession on both factions would require 16 slots.
Decadent Mar 27th 2012 9:03AM
1. If there are going to be any restrictions on which mounts become account wide (if any). I want my Ashes on my alts!
2. How exactly they've revamped Archaeology (screenshots, videos, information on the Loremasters, etc). I was incredibly excited when they added it to the game but it became boring after maybe two weeks.
3. Figuring out how exactly to play affliction. It seems to be confusing as all hell right now because of the massive, massive overhaul to playstyles and talents.
nisheda2 Mar 27th 2012 9:13AM
yer but if a tester could share some info about what they have seen so far, how far along the game is , it be just speculation but the info be nice
ravyncat Mar 27th 2012 9:10AM
As a fellow DK, I must add "my beta invite" so you can glare at me too. XD
That is really the only thing I desperately want.
News-wise though, I want to see more about how pet battles will work. I want to know more about my wow-pokemons.
I would like to see more about the professions and what new things we will be able to make. Are there any cool things like vial of the sands in Mists? Stuff like that.
Also as soon as the 85-90 part of the beta opens, I would love to see wowinsider streams of the new dungeons.
Stryfe Mar 27th 2012 9:13AM
I'm with Helston in that I can't wait to see what the new character models look like, if there even ARE new new models in the works. Has it ever been said outright that these are coming for sure??
I also can't wait for some juicy Hunter information- specifically, talents. My beta invite can't come soon enough!
Luotian Mar 27th 2012 9:15AM
They said the dwarves, maybe, could be done by release of Mists (but they won't release them until they have them all). So, yes, they're working on it. We have no time-line, but the are being worked on.
