I'm pretty sure they do read them, but what more do you need when this is in the article:Anyways here is the list of addons I have incorportated into my UI, I'm excluding things like bag addons and whatnot as it has no bearing (unintentional bear pun go!) on the real meat of the UIPowerAuras Classic: I am addicted to auras, I sometimes have to restrain myself from making too many.Action Bar Saver: Absolutely invaluable for changing bars between roles and specs quickly.Ovale Spell Timer: My Ovale has the code replaced with the priorities found on the Fluid Druid forums.Skada: Especially when healing, I need to know exactly what happened when something goes wrong.Bartender: My favoured bar addon.Button Façade/Masque: I like pretty buttons.Shadowed Unit Frames: I've tried a lot of different unite frame addons, and like SUF best for it's simplicity and customization.Grid: Raid frame replacement. I picked it up back in wrath because I liked the HoT trackers, and never looked back.Move Anything: I like to move stuff.eAlign: I like all my things to be neat and symmetricalDBMSexy MapGlanceMaybe I'm misinterpreting what you are asking for, but I'm not sure what new information you would get.

Some people may not want to share their UI? Some UI's are made so specific they can't be properly transfered. It looks better on the site and the creator if they're just not asked, rather than having to decline. If they want to upload their interface and they volunteer to do it, great. If not, OFW. .

"Please share your WTF folder, also please don't be a meanie and secretly distribute malware alongside it."

The point of this column is to share ideas on constructing your own UI and to recieve constructive feedback to improve your UI. Nowhere in any of that is anything that resembles, "GIVE ME YOUR WORK PLZTHX." With the exception of a few fantastic UI artists such as Vhei, very few UI's include any elements that can't be duplicated with minimal effort. Add-ons for the most part have been designed to be very streamlined and user-accessible. Not to be snarky, but if you can't figure out how an add-on works and how to use the majority of its functions and tools, it's probably because you haven't spent the 10-20 minutes needed to figure it out.

With a posted UI comes the expectation of maintenance or user-requested "tweaks" or modifications. If a user is understandably not willing to cater to the expectations or demands of others then they will not post it.I cannot say I blame them.
