The pet battles aren't doing it for me, so I will avoid those. Farming doesn't sound bad but I will have to experience that for myself. And the running everywhere is going to be a drag, unless there are enough flightpaths to get back to the hubs. I guess I should clarify my dislike for the forced use of ground mounts, the thing that bothers me most about it is we need to be able to reach the mailboxes and trainers on a regular basis. If we have to run to a certain town or city, that will be a major pain.On the other hand, if there are plenty of FP's then my objections to ground mounts until 90 is moot. Fingers crossed for lots of FP's.

You'll learn your spells automatically as you level, trainers are now only used to reset spec choices, which isn't supposed to have any kind of regularity until max level (when you can fly anyway), and even then, it still shouldn't be regular.

Thanks, MikeLive,I must have missed that in the info overload. I still think the mailboxes, and repairs, are going to be a little more difficult but not needing the trainers as much is great.Still hoping for a lot of FP's though.

I agree, pet battles and the farming stuff. I'm especially leery about the farming stuff because the potential to earn stronger than normal food buffs will make it mandatory and I dont want another thing that I have to farm. Pet battles will be something I only participate in to get more pets. I really have little interest in a Pokemon ripoff. The whole ground mount thing doesn't bother me, and in fact I am almost looking forward to it: I have a massive stable of ground only mounts that largely get ignored due to the fact it's faster to fly everywhere. My understanding is that there will be at least 1 class trainer on pandaria, and we will only need to visit the trainer at 87 and 90. FPs should also be at all major quest hubs like they are currently: this will make traveling easy and questing harder - we have to kill our way to the objective, and hopefully kill our way out.

@ VSUReaper,I have no problems with ground mounts and having to ride around Pandaria for our questing or whatever else we may be doing. I am only concerned about lost time to mailboxes, repairs, and now that I think about it the Auction House.I could hearth but that still requires a ride back to where I was. If there are at least as many FP's as in Northrend it won't be too bad, and that is what I am hoping for but dreading if there aren't.

I have no interest in the pet battles myself. As I've said before, Pokemon is something that my nieces and nephews played, so it's not something I've ever done. I love collecting pets, but don't see myself battling them.

I have solved your troubles! All you need is this http://www.wowhead.com/item=44235 and this http://www.wowhead.com/item=40768. No need to ever return to a town again, except to turn in quests!Disclaimer: You may need to spend lots of gold and/or level a new profession in order to claim the wonderful benefits of convenience. If you're lucky, the stuff you make won't blow up on you!Actually, what do you need flight paths for to find mailboxes? Almost anywhere that has a flight path you can hop on will have a mailbox and a repair guy or two. While you will have to run all over the place, quest hubs should always be fairly close by. I loved the pre-flight questing in Vanilla, BC and Wrath. I think it's a great choice for Mists. (Oh and remember that you can fly in Pandaria at level 90.)

Well actually, you don't need to get back to trainers in MoP (unless you want to respec), because you learn your new abilities on the fly. Also, for the mailbox one, FINALLY engineers have an advantage! :POT: My one thing that doesn't excite me is the massive world PvP. I play on Archimonde, and we are hugely low pop. anyway, but more so the Horde outnumbers the Alliance greatly. I'm horde, so I won't be getting slaughtered, but still what fun is PvP is you KNOW you're going to win? This also leaves me with a bigger thing, Blizzard NEEDS to fix low pop. servers, and massive faction imbalance.
