Thanks for the opportunity to voice concerns. Sometimes the site feels a little like Blizzard propaganda. (I realize we all love what they do, but everyone benefits from being held accountable. No one gets better by surrounding themselves with butt-kissers.)
Not looking forward to:
1) Pandas--just doesn't feel epic to me. I guess I started playing WOW too late. I missed the epic-ness of Molten Core--just walking through that place is amazing. It just feels big and bad. I missed out on Lich King. Step into that raid instance and you immediately feel heroic. I started playing and raiding in Cata. I've enjoyed it, but was let down by most of the bosses being outdoors. I guess i want a huge dungeon or epic citadel to tackle...
2) Chinese influence--While I love the culture and vibe in real life, this is a game. I want something that doesn't remind me of RL. Seems less creative when i step into a zone and say, "oh, this is just like Egypt" or "these trolls are from Jamaica". While I can dismiss it when it's just a zone, when the whole expansion is based on it, well, doesn't excite me.
3) Feels like Blizz is prioritizing width (lots to do) over depth (complicated and challenging). Obviously the rebuttal is, "we'll still have the depth of endgame while ADDING more for casual players." I'm not sure if that is possible. Most of the time you can't have your cake and eat it too.
I may be proven wrong on all of these issues. I hope I am...

Everywhere I go in a lot of MMOs, I look around and am reminded "this is just like white people." :p
So don't complain when they give the rest of us a tiny little space to feel familiar with.
That said; WoW's various groups have long been a little more varied than the norm in American made fantasy - at least Horde side.

Ya I agree. The asian influence is a little over the top and doesn't need to span the WHOLE expansion IMO.
It's not a racism thing its just not Warcraft.
