@Brett Porter:I understood her to mean that she asked "When you find out, will you let us know?", and they gave an evasive answer - not about whether they already knew, but about whether they would let us know once they did find out.Here, they did find out about it, and they did let people know - so now she's asking "Why couldn't you have just said 'yes' when I asked before?".Or something like that.
