I think the Challenge tab on that window is the way to see your times, what medals you have and where you are situated on the realm ladder.

That window is not "just" a group finder window.

The other giveaway is that if Challenge modes were to be on a group finder system, it would be listed in the 'Group Finder' tab, yet it's clearly not there.
