I really like the appearance and body proportions of my female Night Elf, but like others here, I would appreciate higher-resolution textures and more detail. Namely, an actual mouth cavity and teeth would be nice. And of course more hairstyles and extra options, like earrings and the ability to choose tattoo color independently of the hair color would be cool to have.Overall, I think female Night Elves are by far one of the better-off Vanilla race models. I'd really like to see just extra detail and options for them, instead of a ground-up rework with a different body shape (please, please, PLEASE don't turn my beloved character into a purple Blood Elf, Blizzard).

Like you I hope that won't happen but I also think our chances are good. Belfs are supposed to look "emaciated" because they are basically junkies (funny how in today's world with our twisted image of women's bodies, a lot of people find female belfs "pretty". Makes me shudder. Anorexia, anyone?). Nelfs aren't, and so there's no reason to make them this thin.

I think Night Elves are the -only- Vanilla Alliance race to have animated faces when casting, attacking, getting hit, etc. It's probably because they were the last Alliance race to be developed. Humans, Dwarves, etc's expressions never ever change, even when dead and floating in a friggin' lake!!I'm not sure about Horde... I think, possibly, the Forsaken may have animated faces. I think, though, Night Elves and Goblins were done dead last, out of all races. It's a shame they didn't go back before Vanilla Launch and spruce up the older models then to match the quality of the Night Elves, they'd have alot less work to do now, that's for sure.

I really like female night elves for one reason.GOOD POSTURE. I absolutely hate how stupid male (troll, undead, orc, worgen, etc) look because they slouch!I LOVE the male troll, when it stands erect! Really though, if the men were more erect we'd see more of them. And yes, that is a sex joke. Deal with it :P
