Tauren males to have an actual mane of hair, rather than lines of polygons along their necks.
Forsaken to have fingers of some sort, rather than infinitely sharp cone/claws.
I was actually okay with the old character models until I saw the Pandaren, with their fancy, expressive animations.

LOL wait till all the people who play who don't even know these kinds of websites exist see them.
I've known people who, when Cata hit, logged in after 4.0 and started asking in Guild Chat: "WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED? WHY'S EVERYTHING BLOWN UP?!"

I couldn't believe how little some players pay attention, in a guild where there is daily talk about whats going on in all aspects of the game and its development I saw one person log in two days after Cat and get stressed about being completely lost in new Stormwind. About two hours later there came a huuuuge tearful rant about Azshara and the fact that goblins had built a 'rollercoaster' across it and completely ruined her favourite pretty zone. Two days later came this gem 'What is a Gilneas?'
If I'd not been part of the conversations I'd never have believed it.
