Although I'm only a sample-size of one, I play Alliance almost exclusively, and have managed to maintain a 4.0 GPA through my undergraduate and graduate studies.

Now, I'm not a hard-core raider, like I was back in Wrath (before I returned to university to do my Masters) but I do raid 10-man normals and enjoy the game.

I'm sure that there are plenty of smart people Horde-side as well.
