I'm hoping that they'll give us a 'display only items I have currency for' option, for when I just want to see the tier stuff that matches the token I just got.Or are they doing away with that concept of tier now? I guess we won't know until the raid itemization comes out.

It sounded very much like they were doing away with the tier tokens, due to the new loot paradigm and talk about "the magic armour shop". But, yeah, who knows?

With tier sets still existing, I'm pretty sure tokens will stay. The magical armor shop comments were more about getting actual pieces of gear from the bosses, instead of points (essentially currency). But I think in that statement, they're considering tokens actual pieces of gear, since they aren't something you save up for weeks to spend.

I've mentioned this before, but I think it's likely that LFR will drop tier pieces, while normal and heroics will continue to drop tokens.Everything else in LFR will be customized to your spec, I don't see why the tier wouldn't be, not least because it means less to wade through on the vendors.Incidentally, you really don't want to add too many options to the vendor filter or you risk the whole thing becoming more unwieldy than useful.
