Mists of Pandaria Beta: Watch the Alliance intro to Pandaria
The Alliance introduction is metered and well played out. I like the focus back on the Horde and Alliance conflict -- it feels like an old friend you haven't seen in a long time but can quickly pick up the conversation with again. Suffice to say, I'm liking this brand of cinematic storytelling over the Uldum type any day.
It's open warfare between Alliance and Horde in Mists of Pandaria, World of Warcraft's next expansion. Jump into five new levels with new talents and class mechanics, try the new monk class, and create a pandaren character to ally with either Horde or Alliance. Look for expansion basics in our Mists FAQ, or dig into our spring press event coverage for more details!Filed under: Mists of Pandaria

No speech
3 loading screens in 4 minutes.
Cartoony 7 year old graphics
And a sub fee of 15 dollars a month and a 50 dollar box worth 1 month of play
Yep that's WOW alright.

Oh man, I know! Have you seen the novels! They are sooooo out of date.
You have to look at WORDS and imagine the video
no voice acting
no graphics at all (unless you count the covers- and I DON'T- that's half-assed)
loading screens whenever you have to turn the page
and they expect you to pay like $8 to buy the damn things.

And of course the Beta is the end product... no further work needed.

I get that its beta, so I am not complaining...
Its hard to read the text, and I want my first exposure to be complete (with voice acting).
I wonder, if I had seen the Wrathgate cut scene without voice acting ahead of time, would I have been so moved by it when I saw it in game?
SO,
I'll wait.
:D

Quite foolish to send ships sailing through Dun Morogh in the first place.

At least no Goblins were thrown away like garbage in this cut scene.

Also it looks like the Horde have kidnapped the King's son Anduin. Ironic since Varian was kidnapped himself once, but by the Defias. Go get your son back, kind Dad.
