Arguing that the blood elves aren't capable of producing anything because the Scar runs through the middle of it ignores one important consideration: the only reason the Scar still exists is because a) gameplay and storyline segregation issues and b) the BC era starting areas have only been cursorily upgraded once in four years.

In the "real" world of post-Sunwell reignition, post-Cataclysm Azeroth, the odds are actually pretty damned good that Quel'Thalas is on the way to *recovery* from the Scourge assault.
