Do you think we'll see any updates to the riding profession in MoP? Or arewe riding and flying as fast as we're going to be?

I definitely don't think we'll be seeing any changes to ground mount speed, because that would throw off the balance of a lot of battlegrounds. AB games and the like would be even more boring if defenders could respond faster to an attack.

Warning - about to show off my n00bness, so if you're easily disturbed, look away...It seems like mounted speed is normalized at 100% in battlegrounds to me? Even though I have 120% speed, my speed percentage is only displayed at 100% when I'm hoofing it in BGs. If this isn't true, maybe my speed meter is bugged?

@slimI'm pretty sure at one time (maybe still, can't log in to find out) the guild perk for bonus mount speed was specified that it didn't work in battlegrounds, etc. Willing to bet that is what you're experiencing.

Cos has it right. The only exception is crusader aura (which is why if you fall behind the AV zerg, you fall really really really behind).I'm actually kind of surprised that they aren't giving out crusader aura to more classes (or just getting rid of it flat out); it's kind of imbalanced on some maps where you can get to a node and tag it before the enemy even gets there.

It's my understanding that current max speed pushes their engine/connection to the limits, so I wouldn't expect another speed boost.
