Next wave of 100,000 Mists of Pandaria beta invites sent out

Yesterday's 100,000 Annual Pass-holder beta-test invites ran through the night, and we're still in the process of notifying the invitees by email. Those selected for yesterday's wave of invites should all have the Mists of Pandaria beta client available for download through Battle.net account management, and they should all receive the email notification by end of day today. If the beta client shows up for you in Battle.net account management, you don't need to wait for the email in order to download the client and begin testing.
We're off to a solid start with the beta test, and things are looking good in terms of realm stability, so we're ready to invite another wave of Annual Pass holders. A second wave of invites is going out to 100,000 more Annual Pass holders today, starting right now.
If you're added in this or any subsequent wave, access to the beta client will show up in Battle.net account management as discussed above. Please check there today and tomorrow, as today's wave of invites will be processing throughout the day and likely into early tomorrow morning. Notification emails will also be going out, but again, no need to wait for the email if the beta client is available to you through Battle.net account management.

Good luck to everyone -- and if you get in, wave at the tauren warrior, or the worgen warrior, or the night elf warrior, or the draenei warrior, since he or she might be me.

At this rate, we'll all be in by the end of next week. "Soon (tm)" actually looks to be pretty soon.

I am ready...I started playing in 06 so i'm wondering when. Until then I think i'll be playing around in D3. Hopefully i'll get to see a Pandaren by the end of the day tomorrow on my monitor! :3

I'm suddenly reminded of those days back in grade school, where I was always picked last for kickball teams.

I'm in!
And slowly (VERY slowly >.>) downloading the beta client.

I wonder what is the criteria the are going in for the order of invites? (if there is any). i been playing for 5 yrs with only a six months break while I was in Iraq and had no internet connection, have been register for the beta since before cataclysm (I did get into the cata beta) and bought the pass as soon as it was announced. I really hope i get in the beta soon but if they keep doing the 10% a day I won't have to wait long even if I end up the last wave.

Blizz has turned checking my e-mail and battle.net account into the same habitual action as re-casting your buffs.

Lol that's what I'm doing too. I keep telling myself that missing it by a few seconds isn't a big deal, and wasting so much time checking for it is stupid but...
ARGH JUST CAN'T HELP MYSELF ._.;

I keep going over and checking my Dad's (he signed up for the Annual Pass on Day 1, has been playing since early TBC-- though he's played a total of 3 hours since Cata dropped) and then checking mine (signed up 3 days later, been playing since mid-TBC).
And every dagnam time I log in to mine I have to use my authenticator >.>. I really wish it wasn't every single time.

I'm impressed that they're actually getting this many beta testor (suckers) on. I'm on the download step now, lets see how it looks.
RetPallyJil Mar 30th 2012 10:35PM
BLARRRRRR!
And yet another sad visit to my account page for no reason -_-
pace9 Mar 30th 2012 10:48PM
^^same.
less than 20% of the annual passes have been invited, so there really isn't anything to complain about. However (despite the logical part of my brain saying "shut up your fine") I'm starting to feel like the kid who was hoping to be in one of the first rounds of pick in gym class, and who had to painfully watch more and more people get picked before him - oh god please don't let that athletic girl get picked before me -
lol I can only imagine how I'm going to feel after about 50%
In all seriousness, we're all going to get in eventually so we all just need to sit tight and keep calm. They will invite everyone when it is time for a large test, because testing is what beta testing is all about.
Gosten Mar 30th 2012 11:01PM
I'm one of those people that wants simply to enjoy a playable demo and not playtest a buggy mess.
Ace Mar 30th 2012 11:19PM
Then beta testing probably isn't the right place for ya
Gosten Mar 30th 2012 11:51PM
Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. I got my beta invite, but I'm going to wait a month or two and let things settle a bit first.
Erika Mar 31st 2012 4:57PM
If i get a beta invite, what section will it be under in account management?
scrdwhtshewolf34 Mar 31st 2012 7:39PM
Under the acct summary Erika
