I disagree for the DW madness fight. It is nowhere near on par with Lich King (the only other endboss I fought when relevant). With LK you were up close and personal. My first LK kill was as the main tank. I TANKED the Lich King, the premier boss of the expansion, and it felt epic. With madness, you're poking his tentacles and kicking his jaw. It's not nearly as epic. Both spine and madness are essentially add fights.
I realize DW is freaking huge, so a traditional encounter wouldn't be practical save for a Supremus like encounter... But it would have felt a lot more exciting.

It didn't help that the Madness fight felt unnecessarily long, you were simply repeating each platform but slightly more difficult each time. Compared to end bosses such as Lich King, Yogg-Saron, Illidan and Ragnaros, even bosses like Nefarion or Cho'gall etc the Madness fight seemed long for the sake of it, not long because it felt like to kill this guy it will take a long time.
