I found it to be the worst raid of the expansion, that being said I really disliked Firelands too. With fights like Madness being the same fight repeated for 10 minutes just 4 times, got old, quick. As well as fights that were way too simple, Morchok and Ultraxion much? I did like a couple of the fights, I found Yor'sahj and Warmaster executed very well but I found Spine lacking in design, sure you get to fly on Deathwing's Back, but unless you are falling off of it (not recommended at home) then you don't even feel like anything is happening, you don't feel any momentum whatsoever from being on DW and it feel's meh to me. The repetitiveness is my biggest complaint of Dragon Soul. It's the most repetitive Raid ever, Morchok, single phase fight, Yorsahj, rinse and repeat on the adds, sure you can get different ones, but the boss never has any different mechanics, Zon'ozz, 2 Phases, Ping Pong and Black Phase, rinse and again repeat, Hagara has the most phases sitting at 3, but only one do you actually fight her, the rest are movement orientated and again repeated too often, Ultraxion, 1 Phase Fight again (No Exiting the Twilight doesn't count as a phase), Warmaster, 2 Phases, Spine 1 Phase and Madness, technically 5 Phases, but 4 are repeated.That's my biggest complaint, there isn't a single fight I can think of with a phase change based on the % of a boss' health, it might get harder but that's about it, the complexity has gone out the window in this raid and I have to say I preferred To(G)C. Even the trash is repetitive though, I mean in Yor'sahj and Zon'ozz's room you don't feel like you're really getting anywhere, because you are just clearing in a room, you're not having to fight your way through corridors etc to get to the boss waiting at the end, you can pull the boss at the start if you want to wipe, also the trash sets are all pretty much identical 3 slimes in yor'sahj and the tentacles in Zon'ozz, this is coupled with Ultraxion trash, generally regarded as the worst trash in a raid at least to the people I know, and even Hagara trash tends to be boring.The trash doesn't seem to stop you getting anywhere, just there to slow you down, the bosses feel like you are repeating the same 1-2 minutes of the fight over and over (especially true on Madness) for the sake of making the fight longer, and the mechanics are mind numbingly boring.To improve their raids in MoP, I am hoping, the return of Hard Modes, not Heroic Toggles, more phases to encounters, think Mimiron in Ulduar for instance, that's one of my favourite fights in the game, not every fight needs to be complex but the last 2-3 bosses NEED to be interesting, and difficult, not just difficult for the sake of it. Especially the last boss of an expansion, I don't think anyone will compare Madness to the complexity of the LK and say it's an improvement.
