If the theme of the tree is "Drunken Boxing"-type Martial Arts, then the new spell names fit it fine. It's about emulating the unpredictable and unorthodox movements of a drunken person, to make it hard to hit you-- it's not about actually being drunk.

Personally, I'm not going to let the name of a couple of spells upset me.
