How do I activate this? I'm in beta and my map isn't showing me quests. I want!!

To clarify, I'm standing next to a quest giver that has a quest for me and yet nothing is showing up on the map.

I think it mostly just tags the start quest giver for a quest chain. the ones it showed me where little side quest hubs that you where never directed to while following the main quest chain.

It doesn't show you questgivers on the map per se; it shows you areas of the main map where there are quests you haven't completed yet. So for instance, I had completed just about everything in my log (I thought), but when I checked my map, I saw a question mark waaaay down at the other end of the zone, indicating I hadn't explored that zone and there were quests I could complete over there. So it doesn't pinpoint "HEY THERE IS A QUEST GIVER IN THIS PRECISE SPOT", it's more like "Hey, you missed this area, and there are quests here you didn't do!" Or at least that's what it seemed like to me. Very handy!

Oh gotcha. I was in Silverpine which I haven't been to since the Cataclysm and was expecting the map to tell me where to go. To test it out I was siting in front of a quest giver with no luck. That makes more sense.
