Spoilers in video games don't bother me much. I guess it's because they aren't really the best medium for story telling.
Now I'm not one of those snobs who insist that video games aren't art, (and anyone who does so insist simply needs to listen to any of the WoW soundtracks) but as a mode of story-telling, I can enjoy them as much if I know what's going to happen.

Single player games can be okay for storytelling but MMOs are probably never going to be great.

I can understand why its not a big deal to hear spoilers for a game. I mean, games are meant to be interactive, so its less about the story itself and more about the player's part in it. Hell, if the game is good, I'll keep playing it even if i already know what happens at the end.
