It's not so much that I don't want to be spoiled, it's that I don't want to be bored with the expansion before it comes out. With Cata, I feel like I looked at so much of the beta and datamined stuff that there was no way it could feel exciting.
I'm in the beta this time around with the annual pass, and I'm very torn on how to handle it. I think I will likely test the Pandaren starting area a lot (since I don't think I'll make a Pandaren for real), and I will likely do a lot of play testing and leveling on a monk, since I can always level in another spec when the game goes live. I also plan to test through the Alliance side of the starting area. That way I won't be sick of the questing before the game comes out, but I can still feel like I'm doing my part to help Blizzard out with properly testing the game.

Good Idea. Can you use premade toons for the opposite faction or are you restricted to copying your own?
