Question for the Q:
With the changes to the pet system, are pet achievements still going to be possible? I ask because I have been working towards the celestial dragon you get from Littlest Pet Shop. I don't have a ton of play time but I have been working towards that achievement for a while now, do I need to finish it before MoP hits or will it still be there afterwords?

It's hard to say because it's still pretty early. But as it is right now, you see individual pets under companions, and account wide pets under the pet battle system - so my druid can use my warlock's blue whelpling for pet battling, for instance, but that whelpling does not count for the achievement.
