You don't get the mount in the in game mail once the friend has paid. It is added to your battle.net account. There you need to assign it to one of your characters, once you have done that you will get the mount in the in game mail.I think SoR is a really cool promotion.However,I have a friend who has been playing forever but very slowly, he has had an active account for years. At the moment he can't really afford the € 44,99 it takes to upgrade from BC to Cata. I would love to send him a SoR but can't because he has an active account. However my slacker friends that cancelled their BC account get Lich AND Cata for free! (and all the other goodies on top of that)
