Back in 2004, I was enthralled with beta streams of World of Warcraft, a new massively multiplayer online role playing game from Blizzard Entertainment, famous for StarCraft, Diablo II, and Warcraft III. I distinctly remember the first stream that I ever watched of a human warlock running through Redridge with his Voidwalker in tow.

Soon after, I got into the beta and never had to watch another stream again. The beta stream bug had bitten me, though. From then on, I was all about watching beta streams of games that I couldn't get my hands on yet.
