As was mentioned in the comments, progress toward achievements isn't account-wide. The achievement itself is what is shared. You can't add up your honorable kills across all of your characters, but once one character hits 100,000 honorable kills, all characters will receive the achievement.

You can get rid of your beta client. It has outlived its usefulness. You'll need to download the full retail client.

With wands becomming main hand items, will DPS casters prefer them and will wand damage become part of a DPS rotation? Will casters be leaving staffs behind? Casters will use whatever item has the best stats for them, whether that be staves, wands, daggers, or whatever else they can equip. I seriously doubt wands will become the go-to weapon 100% of the time. I also seriously doubt wand damage will find its way into a DPS rotation. A bolt from a wand is never going to do as much damage as an actual spellcast. It might be useful to have around when you're completely out of mana ... but I think every caster class already has built-in tools for when they're out of mana. So it's just another stat stick for spellcasters.
Hunters can still equip melee weapons, but not at the same time as a ranged weapon. You can still show off your sword collection, but carrying it into battle won't work out so well for you. The same with a warrior who has a gun collection. Sure, show it off, but don't charge a dragon with a gun equipped instead of a melee weapon.

I think we had a few people on staff goofing around with it, but TERA is one MMO release that has kind of breezed past me. It looks pretty cool and I try out most major MMO releases, but I haven't been able to jazz myself up for this one. I think it's because the North American release falls between The Old Republic and Guild Wars 2, plus the Mists of Pandaria beta is ongoing. I just have too many other things holding my attention.
