WoW Insider has the latest on the Mists of Pandaria!

The Queue: I, for one, am not sorry for the rock

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Adam Holisky (@adamholisky) will be your host today.

We'll jump right into the Q&A today. No need to talk about other games, '90s cartoons, '80s hairstyles, the best music from our childhood (Boyz II Men), or any number of other arcane and inconsequential subjects.

Caylynn asked:

If you could put any pet you wanted to into WoW, what would you choose?

ImageDarkwing Duck.

Ngraham asked:

I think I see more locks (especially demo) than anything (besides monk of course) right now in the beta, do we think all the changes and cool looking stuff is going to make a radical change on the lock population? I kinda liked being the token lock for groups.

I'm the token 'lock in my group as well right now. Well, we have another who raids sometimes, but I'm there every night without fail. I certainly feel tokenized.

That said, yes, we're going to seen an uptick in the warlock population come Mists. Why? Because of just what you said. There are lots of new things and cool changes that are causing people to give the class another try. This isn't a bad thing, either. Hopefully in your guild, you'll still be "the original warlock" and always get an invite, etc., etc. ...

Nicholas asked:

Do you thnk in mop we will see race specific dk mounts? Kind of like they did with paladins? I would love an undead ram for my dk.

No.

AdamFocier asked:

Has there been any talk/interest in bringing back class quests/story lines? I know I enjoyed them when they were around in vanilla, and would love to see them return. DK's kind of have a starting sequence and a story still but it seems that every other class doesn't really have anything like that which makes you feel like the Mage or Warrior etc... class community.

Blizzard knows that people are asking for them, and the idea is picking up a lot of positive support in the community. In part, this is due to the awesome job that SW:TOR did in its presentation of class stories, and it's also partly due to the fact that, as you mention, they were around in classic WoW.

My gut feeling is that we're going to see them again. Mind you, I have no inside info, just a strong sense that this is exactly the kind of thing Blizzard would bring back and put some work into.

Brian asked:

So in diablo 3 you have shared gold between all your characters, do you think we will ever see anything like this in wow or an easier way to mail gold?

No. It's a neat D3 mechanic, but in WoW, just open up the mailbox and send over your gold. Implementing a whole gold sharing system would be a ton of effort for something that you can already do.

Matt asked:

With Diablo III being released next week, and its resulting media blitz, are the fan sites, such as here on WoW Insider, hearing "on the downlow" whispers for another big release of WoW information after the Diablo hype calms down?

No, for real.

However, as others in the comments pointed out, it wouldn't surprise me at all if we see a release date for MoP by the end of the month, if not sooner.
