WoW Insider has the latest on the Mists of Pandaria!

The Queue: Saturday Rocks

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Adam Holisky (@adamholisky) will be your host today.

I found this video on Friday night, and the first thing that went through my mind was not, "Oh my God, I need to go watch me some Pee Wee Playhouse with Morpheus." It was "How can this not be used as the intro to The Queue today?"

Bloodhoof asked:

Since my main spec is resto(druid), but I hate the low dps output for quests, is it possible to do the quests as a dps, but switch to resto before I get the reward? Is it better to just put up with the low dps? Should I buy the gear from the vendors?

Honestly, you could switch specs to get the rewards before you turn in the quest, but what you want to do is just go and buy resto gear from the vendors. Remember what Ghostcrawler has recently said, too -- that Blizzard's not dropping healing gear from dungeons and other places very much. If you need healing (spirit) gear and you only have DPS (hit) gear, then just reforge into spirit and win at life.

Sally asked:

64 bit? I assume that 64-bit client is a bit too cutting edge to try now but will be what I will use in MoP. Do you agree? Or are using 64 bow? Or don't think it will settle down by MoP launch?

I've been using the 64-bit client exclusively since it came out with 4.3, and I'm loving it. It's great right now. No problems at all on my end. It'll be just fine to use in MoP as well.

LowManx asked:

I know that some people [have done some exploits of WoW in the past]. My question is, if one should buy some gems, unknown to me that they are indeed hacked, would that person get in trouble for buying hacked items? Would they be removed from your inventory without compensation? Just a curiosity that hit me the other day when I saw someone selling 40 Queen's Garnets.

You won't get in trouble if you're just buying stuff off the AH like you always do. Blizzard may remove the items if they're illegitimate (and has always said this is an option -- but in practice, I haven't heard of Blizzard's removing stuff bought off the AH), but you won't get punished. The person doing the exploiting, however, will be permabanned.

Awwjwah asked:

At any time do you think Blizzard will revert it's idea that Shaman can be a tanking class?

No. Blizzard's said no before, and there isn't any indication they'll be changing their stance.

Fiona asked:

With the talk of achievements going account wide, are there any achievements which will be unobtainable in Mists and therefore I should try and get before it comes out?

There's not enough info yet to say if certain achievements are going to be unobtainable when MoP releases. When we know, you can be we'll get it up immediately on the site.

Now with that said, I'm really not sure there'll be anything that would go away. No dungeons or zones are getting removed, and Blizzard hasn't been disabling mount-based raiding achievements anymore. So I'd be surprised if there were any that'll be made unobtainable.

Zarabethe asked:

in the light of the attacks on the weekly round up video, do you guys have the option to block people?

Yes, we have the banhammer, and we know how to use it. Our site's comments should be above the quality that you get on the official forums or other sites. If they're not, then chances are, they're gone.

Plain and simple: Be nice.

Arixian asked:

My QfortheQ is whether or not you ever pull questions that are asked about in other WoW Insider articles that you think would be good to answer in the Que or if you only look at questions asked directly in the Que comment section?

We'll occasionally pull from another article if we see something really good. But realize too, most of the time, we get way more questions than we can handle via the comments in the Queue and via any social media interaction.

Have questions about the World of Warcraft? The WoW Insider crew is here with The Queue, our daily Q&A column. Leave your questions in the comments, and we'll do our best to answer 'em!
