The Queue: Help me, Queue, you're my only hope!

Queue, I need your help. I need the heroic Lightning Rod to drop for my warlock tonight. See, the problem is that it dropped once and went to a player who has subsequently not raided. Not complaining about that, he's a nice guy. But ... it's like it's not going to drop for me, ever. I'm sitting at the top of the EPGP charts by far, and when this baby drops, it's going to be mine.
So can you all send some good loot love my way and make it drop tonight when we kill Ms. Wolf Hat?
If you do, I promise to write you another Queue tomorrow. And if it doesn't drop ... you're getting that LOLcat Queue I promised a while back.
PhilDGiles asked:
Have you ever answered a Q4Q with "absolutely" or "absolutely not" and it turns out to be the opposite? XD
The only instance where we were dead wrong was about pandaren. And even then, we were only taking the lead with what we knew from Blizzard folks publically. We eat our hat on this one, though, while playing pandaren monks.
Julric asked:
Now that Deathwing is vanquished and the Cataclysm is over, is there any chance for me to see my beloved Stormwind rebuild? I love my city, and even though I understand those fiery scars are the testimony of diffcult times we've all had to endure, I'd like my park back, for one. And the towers fixed. And that leak in the canal needs to be taken care of. I'd do it myself but the workers won't lend me their tools.
Eventually! However, it doesn't look like it's going to happen in Mists. During the March press tour, Stormwind was blocked off to the press, you couldn't get to it or near it via mage portals or any other means. Of course, we didn't try all the different ways one would try on a test realm or on a live server -- but still. It was clearly off limits, and this led to some speculation amongst the staff that it was being rebuilt on the MoP builds that Blizzard had internally.
But Dave Kosak tweeted a while ago that we'd have to wait longer for the old world to get rebuilt, and Stormwind is part of that old world. Could it happen tomorrow? Absolutely, but I'm not counting on it for MoP anymore.
And really, from a story standpoint, it is kind of neat that we're going to be reminded of Deathwing's influence for a couple of years to come. Then again, I find the Hyponotoad neat, too. And we all know what we do with him, right? (We hail.)
Chojirules asked:
with new spell effects being created and the character model updates incoming (not yet put to a time frame) what exactly do you believe is the spell/ group of spells that need a good redesign on a purely aesthetic level. I personally would levy for shaman weapon imbues to show on enchanted weapons and maybe be a tad more badass then a shiny red/white/brown/blue ball
Warlocks' green fire. Next question.
TobyWC asked:
Question about Diablo if someone can give some advice....my 13 son wants to start playing Diablo he quite happily plays WoW and has been for a few years. But what makes it a 15? Is is particulary violent or gory, or is it a harder more cerebral game than WoW?
Maybe one day I'll be a parent, although I'm not yet, so take what I say with the appropriate grain of salt.
If your son can handle WoW, he can handle Diablo III. There's no sex, there's violence, and there's not really gore per se. (I mean, you don't see some of the stuff you see on Reddit or elsewhere on the internet. It's nowhere near that level -- not even in the same ballpark). All the mature elements of D3 already exist in WoW -- things like skulls, piles of bodies, prisoners, etc. WoW has those, too.
The gameplay isn't any more complicated than WoW's, either. It's different, but no different in difficulty at the end of the day. If you can do one, you can do the other.
