The Queue: Bloody Mary
One of my favorite songs this year, from the new Silversun Pickups album. I adore it. You might, too!
JaredLorenz asked:
How will cross-realm zones in MoP affect herbing and mining nodes? Will these nodes still spawn realm specific? Also, will the zones always be cross-realm, or only when sparsely populated?
Yes, you'll share the same nodes. The devs said they'd keep an eye on that to make sure it wasn't affecting gameplay in any drastic way. And yes, realm-sharing is based on population and also won't happen in current-expansion content.

I was reading Anne's latest transmorg column earlier and she was lamenting the fact that there are no whips (as weapons) in WoW. So why is that? Is it just because they don't want whips in the game, or is there a programming reason? I have zero skills in gaming design so I'm just curious. Harrison Jones uses a whip...so do the Succubi pets. So at least graphically its possible....
It's possible, sure, but "whip" is not a weapon archetype that easily fits into the kit of any of the playable classes in the game. It's just not worth the development to make playable whips for the sake of making them.

Kind of a stupid question, but since WoW is in Beta right now, I'm guessing that means there are no Public Test Realms up anymore, since there isn't anything for Cata left to test?
Definitely -- we'll be seeing the 5.0 patch on the PTR before you know it.
DanZiniti asked:
My question would be "have there ever been any boss strats employed by the player base at large that were so diametrically opposed to the original plan for how the fight would go down?"
I can't definitely answer this, but I can say that Blackwing Lair was basically the wild wild west for a while in terms of players having to develop bizarre strategies to beat bosses. I'm convinced that some of those encounters -- the ones that weren't deliberately impossible -- shipped without an actual strategy in mind to beat them.
BaltoSojNekah asked:
Do we know what raid tokens are used by which classes? (Currently Paladin Lock Priest, Hunter Shaman Warrior, and DK druid mage rogue). Who gets stuck with the 4th added for Monk? Will it be tacked onto hunter token or paladin token? Or are they being completely switched around. In any event, who is on what or is the system being done away with entirely?
Good question. With there being a new leather-wearing class, they might split it by armor class now, or they might stay with what they have and add monks to a token with low class representation, like the paladin/priest/warlock token.
