Today's Queue is a quickie, folks. I need to be outside barbequing every animal I can find.

Almost certainly not. The XP bonus is the entire purpose of the heirlooms.

Is WoWInsider planning to make any changes to the current comment system? Adding the ability to uprate/downrate comments would be nice, so that the highest rated comments would appear near the top. Wowhead has a pretty good system for that.
Yes there are plans to make changes to the system, but upvotes and downvotes aren't one of the planned changes. Wowhead's system is built for leaving helpful notes for other players, not for holding conversations. If a comment is spam or offensive or something of that sort, flag it and we'll see it. There are improvements to the back end of the flagging system in the works that will make moderation easier on our end, as long as people are flagging inappropriate comments.
Is there any fix for the profile image problem? They still don't sync to google account images- and I spent so much time taking the perfect picture. That blue power-button icon just doesn't do me justice.
There's a fix for this in the works on Livefyre's side, but I have no ETA on when the next build of the system will be rolled out.
Finally, is the guest-writer program gone for good, or still on hiatus? I miss being able to call myself a 'professional' writer.
We're not entirely sure yet what the Seed program will look like when our corporate overlords are done overhauling it, so it's too early to say for certain. Personally, I'm leaning "gone for good" and then we'll all be pleasantly surprised if it turns out to be "just a hiatus."
