The Queue: When you're sitting there in your silk upholstered chair

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Elizabeth Wachowski will be your host today.

So this is The Queue, eh? It's my first time playing this particular game, so be gentle. Today, we start off with expensive things on which to rest your butt, so this Rolling Stones song seems appropriate. I suspect a silk upholstered chair would probably cause a lot of lower back pain.

SaltySapphiria asked:

I am looking for an intensive chair for my gaming needs. Being on the PC over 8 hours a day, I need an excellent chair to help reduce a lot of pain. A LOT of pain. Is there one you would recommend? Does Blizzard offer their employees a good quality chair to help reduce pain and look out for healthy postures? My body thanks you!

I'm not sure what Blizzard offers its employees, and I am not the person to ask about chair support, since I do all my gaming and writing lying face-down on my bed propped up on my forearms, which is just the worst position for someone who is 30 weeks pregnant. If you're looking for a truly excellent chair, the Aeron and the Embody from Herman Miller seem to have received positive reviews, and a lot of people say they decrease back pain. However, the Aeron runs about $850, and the Embody is over $1,000 at its least expensive, so you would have to be really, really committed. The Ergohuman is a slightly less costly option. Otherwise, I'd just go to Office Depot, look for a comfy chair and sit in it for about a half hour to see how it feels. Or get a huge beanbag chair and a nice gaming laptop.

ArliSunblade1 asked:

Do you think Blizz will ever allow us to make decent amounts of gold from PvP? People who run instances get decent loot drops they can sell/vend as well as silver/gold off each mob. I'm forced to run dailies to fund my PvP, ok my repairs are low, but I still can end up with hefty repairs in world PvP when a sodding guard shoots me to death through a wall (technically a side-effect from PvP, I know).

World PvP will probably never be a big money-maker, as Blizzard seems to be focusing more on Battlegrounds right now, and the faction imbalance is so bad on certain realms that it would make the playing experience unbearable for the smaller side. However, I could definitely see them adding more Battleground-specific dailies. They would have to be focused on the objectives of the battleground, rather than a "kill x number of x race/class" type of deal -- perhaps a daily reward for capturing a certain number of flags or participating in the kills of commanders in Alterac Valley.

CaylynnRunner asked:

I have one EU account (that is not active, from when I lived in Germany) and a North American account (my current active one, since I am living in Canada). When account-wide achievements go wide, will I have the achievements I earned on my EU account on my NA account? Or are the two regions so separate that it isn't going to happen. My EU main has some achievements/titles no longer attainable, so it would be nice to have those count.

Looking at Zarhym's comments in this article, it sounds like the "accounts" in question are Battle.net accounts. So I'd guess that if they're both on the same Battle.net account, you'll be able to share, but if not, you'd be out of luck.

ClintLundgren asked:

Where's my moose?!!!

If you're referring to the Vancouver Olympics moose pet, it's been two years. I would probably just give up at this point. Real moose (mooses? meese?) may be found across most of Canada, Russia and the Scandinavian countries, where they are frequently enslaved and put to work in IKEA's factories. Do not try this with Canadian moose, as they are easily angered by particle board.
