WoW Insider has the latest on the Mists of Pandaria!

The Queue: Azeroth Pie

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Adam Holisky (@adamholisky) will be your host today.

Thus end music intros to The Queue, because there is nothing more than this.

(Not really. I'm sure music intros will continue -- I just wanted to be sure the best was in. Maybe next week, I'll do some Arlo Guthrie or Peter, Paul, & Mary. Because everything today is crap compared to these guys.)

Shadowfurious asked:

Where's the MoP release date announcement?!?!

I think both Alex and I have said it now, but we're expecting it any day.

Michael asked:

If I'm interested in hitting the gold cap, and since Cata is drawing to a close - what should I do about my AH items - sell all, hoard all 'til MoP, or sell/hoard specific items?

I've actually been increasing my gold supply over the past couple of weeks in preparation for MoP, although not with the intention of hitting the cap.

In my opinion, what you want to do is sell off all Cataclysm-specific items. I've had success selling valor gear, crafting mats, potions, food and fish, and necessary hard-mode raiding supplies. I'm selling epic uncut gems, since those will be negated by MoP items, but I'm not selling the green gems. Those can be used to level jewelcrafting on new pandaren and monks.

I'm also not selling leather. Since monks are going to be leather-wearers, there are going to be a lot of leatherworkers after release, and people are going to want to level up that profession. I intend to make a boatload.

All that said, just think about what new characters in MoP are going to want, and sell everything that doesn't fit under that mold.

MrEchthroi asked:

At what hour do you guys start writing for the queue? more specifically when is the moment of the day that you read all the comments and ignore what is written from that point on? (I live in Europe and I would like to know, to be able to compensate for the time difference)

Unfortunately, it really varies and depends a lot on what else is happening over the 24 hours since the last Queue was posted. Most other columns and pieces are turned in one day before publication, but with The Queue, sometimes we get it done 15 minutes before it's published.

Today, I'm writing it at 7 a.m. while drinking a cup of coffee (Caribou Coffee -- the best coffee in Azeroth).

Cosenius asked:

With the summer lul and pre-expansion lul going on at the moment how would you suggest someone go about starting a new guild from scratch? Nobody wants to join a level one guild. What are some ways you can think of to make people join a new guild?

Don't start it from scratch. Start it with preexisting members, and build a core group of people. After that, start advertising. It will be slow for a couple months as you separate the goods from the bads and as you get members in who don't end up to be long-term investments. But eventually it'll happen. Just give it a lot of time and patience.

Also, just consider waiting until closer to MoP's release.
