We need more cheese quests in WoW. It's a goal of mine to retire and become a cheesemonger. The only way this is going to happen is if I'm educated in the cheesy way. And no better place to start my wedge-ucation than in WoW.
What do you do with multiple WoW accounts? I assume you have to pay $15/month per account, besides multiboxing are there any neat tricks?
Right now, I've got two active accounts. One has the majority of the characters I play, while the other is mainly used for banking and a couple of alts. I've got two because I find myself often in raids with nothing to do as the group resets and problems are solved individually, so at those times, I like to just jump on the AH and see what damage I can do.
I used to multibox. At one point in The Burning Crusade, I had five accounts going, all with level 70 toons. That was fun but a lot of work. There were enough dailies that were doable for a multiboxer that I could pull in some serious gold each day just by questing. Fun times, albeit a bit expensive.
i have the private title on some of my original alliance characters, i currently do not play them nor do i play on the alliance, so my question is will i get that private title on my horde character in mist, with the account wide achievements, or do i need to switch one of them to the horde to get it, or does that title not even count as account wide?
You (likely) won't get the title spread over your other Alliance characters and (likely) won't get the title on your Horde characters. You will (likely) only be able to use the title on the character you earned it on. Why? Because Blizzard has said that for things like PvP, they want the characters that earned things to be the ones with the rewards (and a title is a reward), rather than having that reward be placed on all the other characters.
Further, keep in mind that as a Horde character you can't get the Private title, only the Grunt title. There are already game mechanics in place to prevent that when switching factions.
Do you think that WoW will ever have an account-wide bank, kinda like how D3 works? Small amounts of space, and each tab costs tons of gold. But I'm guessing the reason we don't have one now is because of technical issues. But do you think we'll see this added in like an expac or two?
I'd really like to see this as their solution to cross-realm mail. About a year ago, I spoke with some Blizzard folks, and they mentioned this as one of many different solutions to the problem of cross-realm item sending. Keep in mind though that there's a lot they can and can't do with their current setup, so things like this (and just straight up cross-realm mail) can be extremely challenging.
I have my hopes up that in a MoP patch, we'll see some sort of Battle.net-wide item sharing option.
Does anyone else follow WoW on Facebook? I can't even go to the comments anymore, it's worse than the forums. Zarhym must drink a lot done nights, poor guy :(
Facebook is terrible. I honestly hate it for everything. Why should I friend some guy that I knew 10 years ago for a few months? Not that I'm antisocial (wait, I am), but come on ... OK, now that my Facebook rant is over, yes, the trolls of the forums invaded WoW's Facebook page. I notice that they do go through and purge comments once in a while, but live moderation is impossible over there. And also you can just do what I do and not read the comments.
