We don't really know what's changing in the Jade Forest. It's obvious that some major work is going on, and the question is whether or not we're going to notice it. The work being done could be stuff that's completed behind the scenes, in the code that's used to make the zone function properly, or it could be some major cosmetic and questing changes.
Several members on staff have been completely through the old version of the zone on the beta, and once the new one opens up, we'll let you know what the changes are like.
Quite interesting, though -- I don't remember a time that Blizzard had a (mostly) completed zone open for people on the beta and then took it away entirely. I'm personally looking forward to seeing what they've got cooking!

Greats on the accomplishment! That's something I wanted to do but failed and won't be able to pull off.
As far as the murloc novel, it'll be released once you have 20 level 90 characters.

Grab a couple of people, and you'll be able to clear them without any problem. Some mechanics occasionally come into play, but it's nothing major. I've cleared Kara solo before as well, so you'll have an easy time with that. (The chess event is the hardest part of the raid now, in my opinion.)
Is it safe to use curse client for addons?
Yes, I use it all the time and I don't have any problems. I'm not really sure what's up with all the rumors. There were problems a way long time ago, but that's not at all how thing are these days. It's perfectly safe and a great addon tool.
