The Queue: Remember the '90s, when that planet nearly hit us?

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Anne Stickney (@Shadesogrey) has hijacked the column today.

I couldn't wait for 1994 when I was a kid -- mostly because my kid brain totally skipped over the part where Thundarr took place 2,000 years in the future and instead leapt upon the idea of having a lizardhorse of my very own, just like Ookla. I mean, come on: lizardhorses.

JeffLaBowski asked:

Anyone who has tested Pet Battles out- Is there a minimum level yet and how much XP do you get for battles/capturing a pet?

You can train for Pet Battles at level 5, and the cost is 100 gold. As far as experience goes, it's not really you getting the experience; it's your pets that gain the experience. Experience varies depending on the level of your pet and the level of the critter you are fighting. Basically, if I take level 6 Fox Van Allen out into the wild and tell him to smack around a level 1 critter, he gets no XP for it, currently. He'd have to fight critters closer to his own level to get that. And Fox Van Allen can certainly use all the experience he can get.

BlazeNor asked:

Should Hunters have an edge in the Pet Battle feature?

Should Pet Battles give every other class the ability to tame combat pets? The answer to both is I don't think so.

sergel92 asked:

Is the PTR up for testing now? Or are the realms down?

The PTR is not available for testing yet. When Blizzard posted about the upcoming PTR, it didn't mean the PTR was up and running. Trust me, the second the PTR opens up, you'll hear about it from either Blizzard, us, or any of the other vast assortment of WoW websites out there. Promise!

Lugtonex asked:

Can someone clarify if account mounts mean if i have two licences on a battle.net account i get credit on both or just is it just one licence?

Mounts are Battle.net account-wide, not license-wide. For example, I've got two WoW licenses under one Battle.net account. When I log into WoW with my Battle.net email, I can pick which of these two licenses I want to log into. One has my rogue main and a whole mess of characters on my server; the other has my priest alt and a whole mess of characters on my server. Despite being two separate WoW licenses, they will share mounts, because they're both under that same Battle.net account. Hopefully that clears that up for you.

j1 asked:

I was "busy" playing Diablo 3 and never activated my MoP beta invite from the annul pass promotion. Now it seems to be expired. Will I get another chance, or what can I do to get into the beta now?

If you had it and didn't activate it, I'd suggest submitting a ticket to Blizzard about it. They could probably best fill you in on what, if anything, can be done and help you out.

SteffenDillmann asked:

Will there be a continuation of the Warcraft Saga comic series that started in the final issue of the WOW magazine?

Aw man, I really hope so -- but I don't know, really. Since WoW Magazine was discontinued, it stands to reason any further material intended for the magazine was discontinued, too. That said, I think it would be really keen if we could see a digital comic further exploring the story that we just got the teensiest taste of in the magazine. Like the short stories Blizzard has already published, only, well, a comic book of sorts!

fgsfds1230 asked:

Q4tQ: any word if the Insane FoS will be able to be completed across multiple toons? Say if I want one to work just on bloodsail and the other to work on goblin rep, would it count for both toons? Thanks.

Nope. Reputations are not account-wide, just mounts and achievements. Since you need all of the reputations to stack up for that Feat of Strength, you would have to fulfill all the requirements on one character. Sorry!

@Tinokk85 from Twitter asked:

How easy is the pet battle system to get into? is it intuitive? is it fun? What are your opinions?

I'll be perfectly honest with you. I had no idea what to expect when I logged onto the beta last night. I asked a guard where the trainer was, visited the trainer, and was given a quest to defeat a pet. Once I had done so, Fox Van Allen immediately dinged level 2 and I was completely in love. Finally getting to give my pets proper names is an absolute blast. The interface is really smooth, the music is amazing, the pets are really fun to find, the trainers are fun to fight, and there's a certain degree of skill involved with the fighting.

It works a lot like Pokemon or any other battle monster game in that certain pets are stronger against certain pet types. You have to pay attention to that when you're out in the wild. Look at the critter you're thinking of fighting to see what type it is, then choose an appropriate pet from your team before engaging it. Currently, you can only heal your pets to full once every 15 minutes. This is absolutely fine as far as cooldown time goes, as long as you're using your pets appropriately.

Watch the different types, make teams of three when you can, and swap out the pets mid-fight if you have to. It's definitely not difficult at all, especially if you've ever played Pokemon before. In fact, it's fun. It's really, really fun. I don't know if it will ever stop being fun. It doesn't feel like a grind at all. I want a version of this game as an app for my phone, it is that fun. It isn't a profession, but this is all the fun I had hoped archaeology would be and more.

@Snoobjack from Twitter asked:

Q4tQ: do you wanna be a masta?

More than anything in the world, Snoob.
