Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Mike Sacco will be your host today.

Yeah, I don't ... I guess someone asked for this image, but it wasn't me.

JamesMcEneely asked:

On the live server, my mage has over 100 pets, but when I transferred her to the Beta server and learned how to do pet battling, I had no pets, and was lucky enough to have a couple event pets from earlier in my WoW career that left me with the item after learning.

So my question is this: Will I retain my pets when patch 5.0 goes live? Or will I have lost my faithful companions?

Oh, don't worry, that's just a beta bug. You'll have them all when 5.0 goes live.

Skyreiser asked:

Are the Vendors who sell recolored legendaries still in Beta or was that just for funsies?

That was an April Fool's joke from Wowhead.

anoonomoose asked:

Does anyone know if there are plans to address the issue of players who learned all the glyphs under the current inscription model? I was hoping current glyphs that will no longer exist in MoP might translate to some of the new glyphs automatically... instead of having to relearn all the glyphs. Honestly, as long as we don't have to use the book of glyph mastery again, I'll be a happy scribe.

Commenter Pata answered this one really well:
They did! Instead of simply removing a lot of glyphs this expansion and adding new ones (with new Item IDs), they have now re-usued the Item IDs for most new glyphs.

So, if Glyph A has Item ID 1234 on Live, but it's removed in Mists and replaced with Glyph B (which also uses ID 1234), all instances of A in your profession pane, glyph pane, bags, auction house, etc will automatically change to B; no need to relearn or remake! There are only a handful of glyphs (about 5 or so) in the whole game that will turn into vendor junk when the switch occurs.
42pan1c asked:

With the removal of resistances, what will become of the undead racial shadow resistance?

It gives you a passive 1% reduction to shadow damage. Not terribly interesting, but at least it works!

AlexAprile asked:

In Mist which factions will be the best to complete for the mount junkies like myself?

Pretty much every faction in MoP has a mount reward with enough rep. Just start with whatever faction has the mount you think is the coolest. (Hint: It's either the Cloud Serpent or the Lorewalker cloud mount.)
