WoW Insider has the latest on the Mists of Pandaria!

The Queue: A little bit Kara, a little bit panda

Hello. My name is Mike. You might know me from such hits as Twitter and WoW Moviewatch. Adam's wandering the earth like that guy from Kung Fu, so I'm visiting The Queue today. I hope you folks have some questions about beer ... or babies ... or something. Oh, we're doing WoW here? Sure, I can do that.

By the way, that cinematic. I know, right?

chopnfat asked:

Talking about Karazhan, what is the story behind the two gryphons and the instance portal near the top of the tower? We obviously couldn't get there before flying mounts in old Azeroth. Was it added post Cataclysm or was it always there and simply never used?

Blizzard originally had other plans for Karazhan. You can find plenty of artifacts of these other plans, like the super-creepy Karazhan Crypt. So that portal just never got used when those plans failed to come to fruition.

snarkygoldfish asked (which is fairly impressive for a goldfish):

Is there a way to report repeatedly abrasive / offensive users and/or their comments? With this new system, does flagging a comment as offensive (or spam or off topic) actually reach the moderators / bloggers?

If it gets too bad and obvious, hit our tip widget. We're pretty hip to what's up in the comments, but it's certainly possible we'll miss a repeat offender. And we want our comments to be a happy, welcoming place, so we'd love to know if you see something going on.

mr_killik asked:

Q4tQ: Who is the most fan-despised World of Warcraft character? Obviously I'm not talking about villains per se - more people we're told we should admire.

Would it be Me'dan? Rhonin Red-Hair? I hear Krasus was pretty unpopular, back in the day. Or is it Garrosh? Maybe even Cataclysm-era Thrall? Or is it someone more left-field, like Tirion Fordring?

Oh, I think you rounded up most of the obvious ones. Personal preference plays a pretty big role in this, of course, and I occasionally see some grumblings of disappointment about Jaina. If I were shooting from this hip, though, I'd say Varian. It seems like everyone hates that guy.

mario asked:

What was Prince Malchezaar doing in Karazan anyway? And why did he have Grom's axe? Did Garrosh kill him in lore?

He was not alone, since you were facing not him alone but the legions he commands. As for Gorehowl, we've pondered its fate ourselves.

Steven 14 asked:

When 5.0 hits, should we expect to be stronger? Or weaker? It seemed like when the changes went in for 4.0 in ICC we took a bit of a hit. Made some of the fights we were working on a tad more challenging.

What you'll really be is crazy for a while. The goal is for everyone to be about equal, given the raw numbers and such. But everything's going to feel so different that you'll need some time to get back on even footing. Expect patches, adjustments, and confusion. Within a short time, though, you'll be able to get back to pwning content normally.
