Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Alex Ziebart will be your host today.
Are you ready for Mists of Pandaria? I know I am!
You might think that's a screenshot from the new expansion above, but it isn't. It's a real life image of me, Michael Sacco, and Matthew Rossi getting amped for some hardcore gaming tonight.
Will there be CRZ happening in the mostly deserted higher level Pandaria zones tuesday morning? Id hate to have to compete with people on other servers going for their own profession server firsts. I remember seeing only a few people in the higher level zones with me at the beginning of wrath and cata, but id hate to have my competition for nodes multiplied by a couple of servers worth of those few people.
There will be no enforced cross-realm zones in Pandaria upon the expansion's launch. However, people can still group with their Real ID/BattleTag friends cross-realm, so you may see people not from your server playing alongside you. They were invited, not shunted there automatically.
Is there going to be a cool new look for the site when MOP hits
For WoW Insider? Nope. We implemented the dark blue background back during Wrath of the Lich King with a very Wrath-like background graphic. It's reasonable to think, then, that our site theme is still Wrath-based. We don't look at it that way anymore. We had the blue so long that we now associate ourselves with that color. We stripped down the Wrath elements, kept the blue, and that's probably the way it will stay for the foreseeable future.
We like the color and it fits the network's theme for the most part. Joystiq is orange. Massively is green. WoW Insider is blue. Of course, the day when most of the network has a giant Mists of Pandaria advertisement on it is not the best day to show off color schemes. Just use your imagination.
I have read that when MOP goes live, a quest to Pandaria will appear in my quest log. However, what happens if your quest log is full? I have 25 completed quests ready to turn in for a little XP boost tomorrow night.
You will still be able to get the quest. You'll be at 26/25 quests briefly, as the game allows some overflow in special cases like these. You may not be able to progress to further quests in the quest chain until you drop some old quests or turn them in, but that initial popup can be accepted and completed.
Level my druid(healing) first or my hunter? I CAN'T DECIDE!!!
I always recommend people level their tanks or healers first. If your main is a DPS, by all means, level DPS. But if you're torn between a tank/healer and a DPS, go tank/healer. Those roles are always in high demand. You'll get into dungeons faster and you'll always have something to do without needing to wait around.
