I just got Okami HD on PSN, and you know what that means -- it's all Amaterasu pics, all the time! Is headbutting your solution to everything, Ammy?
PhilDGiles asked:
I was looking through the Mists of Pandaria artbook that I got with my CE and there was something that caught my notice. There were a couple pages of designs for Crane-people. Has there been anything said about why we haven't seen them yet, or whether we'll see them soon or not?
I'm assuming those guys were from an earlier design concept; I believe there are also some tiger guys in there, so it's possible that there was an idea to have a race based on each of the August Celestials. That's obviously gone by the wayside, and there's not a whole lot of room on Pandaria to suddenly have a new race appear.
JamesF asked:
Relating back to the logic behind Pandaren Death Knights, it is obvious why there wouldn't be Pandaren DK's at the time of the Alliance-Horde War, but afterwards--for example, the next expansion--it is something to assume that they would introduce the class to the Pandaren, but the whole zoned timeline is two years (WoW time) before Pandaria was even re-discovered. Do you think they will alter the starting zone to include new Pandaren DK's or just retcon the Pandaren into the class?
There's essentially zero justification for pandaren death knights and I suspect it'll remain that way. No active Lich King, no DKs.
JeffLaBowski asked:
When did the blood elves get to the Outland? They were on Azeroth originally right? Are all those settlements post Dark Portal opening or were they there before? Since I get most of my lore in game (or asking here) I are confused.
Kael took a few hundred or so blood elves through the Dark Portal in the Frozen Throne campaign of WC3. They stayed there in the however-many-years it was between TFT and BC and built settlements, attacked the Exodar, etc.
NicoSinatraGrindley asked:
Do you think there will be a new weapon set added in game? like a Glaive or something ? something that Monks would be more custom too?
If you mean a traditional glaive, those already exist. They're called polearms. If you mean the weird WoW glaives, those are...I guess, fist weapons maybe? And not particularly monk-y at that.
mattprendo asked:
Is it just me or are the respawn rates and amounts of mobs more clustered in MOP? I can't remember a time in all the years I have been playing where I am getting ganked by mobs on a regular basis. Specifically the area in question is the quest hub around Nessingways area. You can't walk a yard without getting attacked by something or another.
Spawn rates adjust on the fly depending on how many people are in the zone.
