How does bliz plan to keep the farm viable in future expansions? Will they create new seeds to keep up with the new gathering items that will come with 675 mining, skinning, and herbs?
I doubt they'll keep the Pandaria farm updated in future expansions. They'll likely create new, similar locations in each expansion.
What does the "singing sunflower" pet sing?? It sounds like she is singing "There's a zombie in your bedroom"
"There's a zombie on your lawn," from Plants vs. Zombies. Laura Shigihara, who composed all of the music in the game, actually voices the Singing Sunflower in WoW.
So I may have just not noticed this in any posts anywhere, but has Blizzard ever given a reason why there isn't an achievement for Kalimdor for completing all of the Pet Trainer battles like there is for Eastern Kingdoms? It just seems weird to me, seeing as there is even the daily quest up in Wintergrasp in Kalimdor. Anyone know why this may be the case?
The two achievements are faction-locked. Alliance characters have an achievement for Eastern Kingdoms trainers. Horde characters have an achievement for Kalimdor trainers.
Of all the instances they could have streamlined, why not BRD?
Blackrock Depths would be a significantly larger undertaking, I think. It's huge. How would you approach such a thing? Only use a small portion of the city-like dungeon? Break it up into wings, like Scarlet Monastery?
While Blackrock Depths was not super fun to clear at level 60, it had a certain mystique. It was a massive city with different districts, almost completely nonlinear, and had many optional side activities. Would you ruin the essence of BRD by streamlining it and breaking it into pieces? Could you replicate what made Blackrock Depths what it was? Or is better left alone?
If Blizzard were to update Blackrock Depths, I personally believe they should keep it massive and sprawling. At level 60, I enjoyed taking my rogue in there solo to see how many of the side objectives I could complete on my own. It was a great playground and you really felt like a sneaky thief doing all of that stuff. Pulling all of that out with create a shadow of what BRD used to be. There are plenty of other dungeons they could update. Leave BRD as it is. Or if they're going to update BRD at all, don't use it as a dungeon -- build in what rogues did in that dungeon. Make it a solo questing area, where you can feel awesome plundering Dark Iron riches.
The one favorite change to the game in 2012?
This is too difficult for me to answer, so I'm going to cop out and say most of Mists of Pandaria. I found Cataclysm super exciting for the first month or two, and then the rest of it was painfully boring. I don't know if Mists of Pandaria will keep me engaged for its entire lifetime, but it already has Cataclysm beat.
